Web Designer / Template Slicer

Karakas is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Web Designer with several years experience to join our creative  team.

The candidate will be expected to work to high standards designing websites and building templates for a wide variety of clients.
You will be working with the Karakas.be and Alerto.be team, bringing creativity to the portfolio. Respecting certain procedures and agreed timelines is important through the project phases from design through to development and deployment. You will be sometimes expected to work under pressure and contribute constructively to briefs, taking into account client wishes.

There will be excellent opportunities for you to design and develop a high-end portfolio.

Essential Experience

• Adobe Creative Suite
• MS Office
• XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
• cross browser compatibility
• accessibility standards
• usability

Desirable Experience

• Libraries (Jquery, ...)
• Flash scripting

Language Skills

Spoken English is essential and preferably Flemish and / or French.
